US Native Plant Seeds

Welcome to All Green Thumbs - the native plant component of Wildlanders.com.

Our seed packets are $1.49 in quantities of 25 packets, $1.69 in quantities of 10 packets, $1.89 in quantities of 5 packets, or 1.95 each. Shipping and handling is $1.00 and free with orders of 10 packets or more. There are 50 seeds per packet unless otherwise indicated.

The seed listing below is for last year. We are working on our 2006-2007 listing. We have many species of western herbs, grasses and shrubs. Please inquire as most of our seeds are currently not listed below.

Disclaimer: Our plant materials are offered for educational purposes, home decor, landscaping, pot pourri, hobby, and the like. While many of our natives are highly sought for their medicinal and edible value (huckleberries, balsamroot, etc), we can not recommend the consumption of any plant materials.


Northwestern Native Plant List 2005

 

Arctostaphylos uva-ursi (Bearberry, Kinnick Kinnick, Uva Ursi) USDA zone 6-7.

Astragalus whitneyi (Balloon Milkvetch) USDA zone 6-7.

Carex scopulorum (Mountain Sedge) USDA zone 6-7.

Carex vesicaria (Bladder Sedge, Inflated Sedge) USDA zone 6-7.

Other Carex available but not yet listed online include Water Sedge (C. aquatilis), Shore Sedge (C. lenticularis), Beaked Sedge (Carex rostrata), and a host of other. Most are available in bulk, wholesale rates and quantitities.

Ceanothus velutinus (Snowbrush, Western Red Root) USDA zone 6.

Eriogonum thymoides (Thyme-leaf Buckwheat). USDA zone 6-7.

Osmorhiza occidentalis (Sweet Root, Sweet Cicely). USDA zone 6-7.

Penstemon confertus (Yellow Penstemon). USDA zone 6-7.

Ribes lobbii (Gummy Gooseberry). USDA zone 6-7.

Ribes watsonianum (Spiney Gooseberry). USDA zone 6-7.

Xerophyllum tenax (Beargrass). USDA zone 6-7.


We currently offer seeds collected in the Northwest region of the United States. Please come back and check our listings regularly. It changes monthly and sometimes on a weekly basis.

Please contact us if you are searching for a plant that is not listed. We have many flowers, sedges, grasses and shrubs that have not been placed on the listing below.
